From Military Service to Jesus Christ's Service
Continuing to win your sons and daughters to Christ
I have been in the Army and the Indiana National Guard for a total of 23 years. I retired from the Army in August 2018. I have also worked in the civilian work force. God called me to the mission field in 2009 and 2010 while I was in Iraq with the Army and now we have been called to take the Gospel to the military at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. I graduated from Indiana Baptist College on 1 May 2021.
God has called us to go to minister to the single soldiers at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. We are praying that the Lord would send a younger family to work with us and take over the ministry when we are no longer able to do it.
We are being sent out of Southeast Baptist Tabernacle in Indianapolis, IN under Pastor John Ray. They are our home church and truly are family to us. They have supported us in so many ways during this process of becoming missionaries. Our family has been serving here since March of 2004. I have been the Sunday School Superintendent, sing in the choir and special music, started a visitation program, and children’s church. My wife works in the nursery, provides meals for families and assists with meals at church for funerals and other activities.
Meet Samuel.
Samuel was the first soldier to come to the Christian Serviceman’s Center: here is his story.
